Anybody interested in grabbing a couple of burgers and hittin' the cemetery?

So our power went out for about a day, on account of the irrationally big storm that came through on Monday. I was in the dark till Tuesday evening. Not fun. I had to twiddle my thumbs till then.

Check this out. It's the Democratic Congressional Committee's ad for firing Rove. I just like it because it has the Karma Police chorus about 2/3 of the way into it. Appropriate, I suppose, though 2 2=5 works just as well here.

The Cavs never did pick up a point guard. I thought they might get this Lithuanian fellow named Sarunas Jasikevicius (yes-uh-KE-ve-shess), but he went to the Pacers instead. Because they don't have enough depth. Bastards. Anyway, now they're lookng at this guy from the Clippers, Marko Jaric (from Serbia-Montenegro... apparently all point guards are foreign now) but he's a restricted free agent and probably costs more than what we have remaining in cap space. So we'll probably just go with Eric Snow again. Which is probably ok, because we'll need some solid defense considering Drew Gooden is probably not going to be traded.

My ankle is starting to do better. My foot is no longer swollen as badly, though it's still not good. I've got bruising all the way down the side of my foot and into my toes. And now it's spread upward on my leg, like it's a goddamned bacterial infection or something. I don't get it to be honest. </center>Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Oh, and I'm not that fat. It's just that swollen. are some pictures(Warning: not for the faint of heart)

Nikki and I saw Wedding Crashers last night. Very funny movie... and a special appearance by 'Chaz.'

I have a new favorite channel now: FX. I've been getting into Nip/Tuck here recently and I just watched Over There last night. Good stuff. Plus, I like 30 Days, that's an interesting program. It looks like they've got some good shows on the way, too. They also have been playing The Royal Tenenbaums a lot recently. That's never bad.

In other news, I just found out that Bodysong has been released in the US. I may go buy it, or I may not considering no store will carry it. But we'll see. Maybe I'll pick it up on Amazon.

The soundtrack or the actual CD? Because I think the U.S. DVD was only released this month. And I don't think European DVDs work on our players.

I thought about picking up the soundtrack, but then I decided to hold out for the CD, since it's basically the soundtrack with visuals.
